Where It All Began

Lamia Apothecary was born out of a simple frustration: the inability to find skincare that was both genuinely effective and made from ingredients you could actually trust. So we went back to basics — way back — drawing on time-honored traditions and the wisdom of generations who understood that nature, when treated with respect, provides everything our skin needs to thrive.

What started as a personal practice of formulating in small batches grew into something we couldn't keep to ourselves. Friends noticed. Skin transformed. And Lamia Apothecary came to life.

Grass-Fed Beef Tallow — One of the oldest skincare ingredients known to humanity, tallow is remarkably similar in composition to the natural oils our skin produces. Rich in fat-soluble vitamins A, D, E, and K, it absorbs deeply without clogging pores, leaving skin soft, supple, and genuinely nourished. We use only grass-fed, pasture-raised tallow — because quality starts at the source.

Manuka Honey Extract — Harvested from the remote forests of New Zealand, Manuka honey is renowned for its extraordinary antibacterial and healing properties. In our formulas, it works to soothe, hydrate, and support the skin's natural barrier — making it a perfect companion for sensitive or troubled skin.
